Lloyd Park

Walthamstow

Lloyd Park is an outdoor space in E17, and it suits people who like to be useful outside. The events here tend to be practical. Think gardening sessions, hands-on conservation work and volunteer days where you learn by doing. You don't need experience to turn up. The people you meet are often local and happy to show you what to do. Bring gloves, something you don't mind getting muddy, and a bit of patience. It's a good pick if you want a reason to be outdoors that isn't a walk. You leave with dirt under your nails and a clearer sense of how the place works.
