The Lloyd Park Centre: Pub in Walthamstow, London

The Lloyd Park Centre is an outdoor venue in E17. It is a place for community life, somewhere people gather in person for reasons that matter to them. Support is a big part of what it hosts. Peer groups bring people together to talk, listen, and find others going through the same stage of life. These are not performances. Nobody is watching you. Everyone is there for the same reason. Outdoor spaces suit this kind of meeting. People can arrive as they are, carrying bags or a bit of nerves, and settle in without much fuss. The crowd tends to be local and glad to see new faces. If you are coming to something here for the first time, give yourself permission to be quiet.
