Strongroom Bar: Pub in Shoreditch, London

Strongroom Bar sits in EC2A and runs a mixed programme. Live bands, showcase nights and short film open screens all share the same room. That mix shapes the crowd. You get people who came for a set and stayed for the film, alongside people who came to try something of their own. Most nights lean towards live music, often with a bill of two or three acts. Some lean towards the screen. The room changes with the format, so read the event type before you go, not just the venue name. Pick the night that suits you. A loud bill feels very different from a quiet screening, and both have their place here.
