Walthamstow Trades Hall is a food-led place that likes to give the evening a second act. You eat well, then stay for something that makes you think. The programme leans towards film screenings followed by conversation, where someone who knows the work sits down to talk it through. That gives the room a particular feel: people who came to listen as much as to eat, and who stay for the questions after the lights come up. It suits anyone who likes a meal with a point of view and would rather hear a story behind a film than skim past it. The venue sits in E17, in Walthamstow, and the listings below show what is coming up. Pick by the speaker or the film, not just the night.
