Balham Farmers' Market is a friendly weekly market run by London Farmers' Markets in the grounds of Henry Cavendish Primary School off Hydethorpe Road. Established in September 2011, it brings genuine farm producers from in and around the capital straight to south-west London every Saturday, rain or shine. The setting is relaxed and family-friendly, with space to sit, grab a coffee and chat while you shop. As with all London Farmers' Markets, every stallholder grows, rears, bakes or makes what they sell, so this is real seasonal food rather than resold supermarket stock.
