About
Disney's The Muppet Christmas Carol in Concert Live to Film will return to Eventim Apollo this festive season, featuring a screening of the film while the musical score is performed live by an orchestra.
The Muppets perform Dickens' holiday classic with Kermit as Bob Cratchit and Michael Caine as Scrooge. Gonzo narrates alongside Rizzo the Rat, with Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and Robin the Frog in supporting roles.
When the grumpy Scrooge receives Christmas Eve visits from the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future, they show him the error of his self-serving ways. The tale explores redemption through the kindness of Bob Cratchit's family and the Spirits.
The score was composed by Miles Goodman, with songs by Paul Williams, an Oscar, Emmy, and Grammy-winning songwriter.
