Open Mic Night

The Dukes Head in Richmond hosts open mic every Friday night. The mix is predictable and that's the point: musicians testing new material, locals with guitars looking for a stage, and people genuinely there to listen.

It's the kind of night where you might come to see a specific person or just to watch what shows up. The room changes through the evening , earlier sets pull a broader group, but by later on it's the people who came for the music.
