About
Open mic nights are London's proving ground for the slightly mad. The Angel & Crown runs theirs weekly from 8pm, which means there's always a stage if you need one. Musicians, poets, comedians: the pub doesn't discriminate.
The format rewards risk-taking, so any given night is genuinely unpredictable. Come to perform or to watch someone test an idea on a crowd of strangers. There's something useful about a room where failure is expected.
If you want to go on, message the pub to book a slot.
