Thursday Quiz Night

Farr's runs a weekly quiz with free entry, which makes it worth penciling in. Quiz nights work because they're social. You come with mates or join a table, shout out answers, and nine times out of ten leave with a laugh or a dispute about whether your answer was actually right. It's the kind of night that needs no gimmick.

In Dalston, on a Thursday, it's reliable and unpretentious. You don't need to be a quiz champion to enjoy yourself, and the venue doesn't pretend to be something it's not. It's a room of people thinking together, with beer in hand, and that's all it needs to be.
