Manding Melody featuring Habib Koite & Sura Susso

Mali guitarist Habib Koite and Gambian kora maestro Sura Susso bring their newly recorded project to Rich Mix. The set takes Manding griot tales, handed down through families like theirs since the 13th century, and tells them in modern styles. It suits anyone who likes their music with a story at the centre, and it's a Sunday night worth clearing for.
