Ballet Introduction with Julian Lewis

Every Monday at The Place, you're learning ballet from Julian Lewis. There's a pianist, Anna Gillespie, playing live while you move. That changes things. It's less gym class, more intimate. The course builds coordination and flexibility at a pace for beginners. You're building confidence as much as technique.

The live music is key. You're never just counting beats in your head; the piano guides the movement. It's the kind of thing that works in London because The Place exists as a proper dance space where this happens. Show up on Monday and you're learning from someone who knows how to teach beginners. The flexibility and coordination are useful. The confidence is the real point.
