New Cross Songwriters Circle

The Songwriters Circle happens on the first Sunday of each month at The Shirker's Rest, gathering local musicians to perform original material. Martin Howard hosts, and the relaxed setting means the focus stays entirely on the songs themselves.

This is where you discover what's being written in your neighbourhood right now. It's the kind of night that builds a scene one listener at a time, without the formality or distance of bigger rooms. If you care about original music and local talent, you'll find both here.
