Peter Werth and his Jazz Crew

Four musicians, one small room. The Scolt Head runs a monthly jazz night with a tight group on piano, bass, drums, and tenor sax. These are sets where you can watch the players listen to each other, not just hear them from the back of a crowded bar. The music tends toward conversation rather than showcase.

Ten pounds for the door. Go if you want live jazz without the scene, somewhere people show up for the music itself. Monthly rhythm means it's worth marking when the next one lands.
