Heads up before you plan anything: Swingers City is permanently closed. The City of London branch shut in March 2025 to make way for redevelopment near the Gherkin, so you cannot book it. If you still want the Swingers crazy golf experience, the West End branch off Piccadilly is the one that is still open.

It ran two 9-hole crazy golf courses styled like a 1920s English country club, with five cocktail bars, street food traders and a two-storey clubhouse. It was an 18+ venue and you booked a slot rather than walked in.

Why it is closed

Swingers City closed permanently in March 2025. The site, a basement venue at the foot of the Gherkin, was given over to planned redevelopment of the surrounding block. The brand was clear that this was a permanent shutdown of the City branch, not a temporary refit. The good news is that the Swingers West End venue near Piccadilly Circus carries on as normal, with the same crazy golf, carnival games and cocktails. If you searched for the City spot for a work do or a birthday, point your group at the West End site instead.
