Bowling

There are 18 lanes with automatic scoring. All lanes have rails, and ramps are available, so children can bowl too. Shoes come in sizes 28 to 50. Besides standard bowling there is disco bowling, and you can book a lane with a taptafel, a table with its own beer tap.

Prices

Bowling starts from €36 per lane per hour, and bowling with a taptafel also starts from €36. Disco bowling starts from €64.45 per lane. The kidsparty costs from €20 per child and includes 90 minutes of disco bowling, snacks, fries, vegetable snacks, unlimited lemonade and ice cream.

For groups there are buffets, starting from €31.50 for a snack buffet. The Amsterdam lunch buffet is from €35, the Knijn buffet from €40, the Oosters buffet from €42 and the Amsterdam buffet from €42.50. Custom parties are possible from 25 people.

The family and the building

The business was founded by Paul Knijn and, according to iamsterdam, is now in the hands of his daughter Ilse. The Knijn family put bowling lanes into the building around 1970. Scheldeplein 1-5 started as a garage, designed in 1932 by N.C. Dekker and influenced by the Amsterdam School. Dok Architecten carried out the later rebuilding of the complex.

Getting there

The bus stops at Scheldeplein, about 40 metres from the door. Metro Europaplein is about 270 metres away, and the Dintelstraat and Scheldestraat tram stops are around 300 metres.
