Good to know

The two courses

The Minigolfbaan is the classic course, with obstacles such as a loop, a maze and a net for a hole-in-one. It is fully wheelchair accessible and costs €10 per person for 18 holes.

The Grasbaan is more like real golf, with slopes, real water and sand bunkers on holes of 9 to 15 metres. It suits casual players and golfers alike and costs €12 per person for 18 holes.

How it works

You can come without a reservation with up to 10 people. Larger groups, children's groups and company outings must reserve, and those bookings are only taken on weekdays during opening hours, up to 50 people. The courses are for players only, so you cannot walk along to watch. Children under 12 need at least one adult playing with them.

The venue warns that Sunday between 13:00 and 15:00 can be very busy, so come earlier or later.

Season and hours

This is a seasonal outdoor venue, open from March to the start of November to a schedule published on its website. Check it before you travel.

Pancakes and terrace

The restaurant bakes pancakes to order, with sweet ones from €8 and savoury ones with bacon, ham, cheese or apple at €11 to €14. There are also fresh poffertjes at €7, toasties, croquettes and bar snacks such as Holtkamp bitterballen. The terrace looks out over the rose garden, and staff serve both on the courses and on the terrace. The kitchen closes half an hour before the venue does.

Parties and groups

A children's party is possible from age 6 on weekdays outside school holidays, for up to 10 children and on the minigolf course only. The Party package costs €15 per child and Party Plus €19.50. The Business arrangement is €22.50 per person, with a round on either course, two drinks and a plate of bar snacks.

Getting there

RAI station, for metro 50, 51 and 52 and tram 4, is 5 minutes' walk from the Amstelpark. Bus 62 stops outside at Weerdestein. By car, navigate to Arent Jan Ernststraat 1. Parking costs €2.80 an hour from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 to 19:00, and is free on Sunday. The machine takes cards only, or you can use a parking app.

The park also has the Amsteltrein miniature train, a playground and a city farm, so it is easy to turn a round into a day out.
