Absynthe Minded

Absynthe Minded, the name under which Bert Ostyn and his bandmates operate, has been a household name for over twenty years. The Belgian group is known for the versatility of their music, seamlessly blending elements of jazz and rock into their indie-pop sound. Their new single, Tower Of Joking , serves as the first taste of Slightly Included , the band’s ninth studio album, due for release on March 19, 2027. On this track, an ensemble of sixteen string players, with arrangements by Alex Callier, expands the band’s signature sonic palette. The song offers a preview of the musical breadth of Slightly Included , an album that deftly juggles robust rock, catchy pop, and groovy jazz textures.
