Mattiel

Mattiel is the musical project of singer-songwriter Mattiel Brown, born in Atlanta and now based in Italy. Since her self-titled debut album in 2017, she has combined vintage soul, indie rock and sharp songwriting with her distinctive vocals. Across albums like 'Satis Factory' and 'Georgia Gothic', she has developed a sound that brings classic influences together with a modern indie rock sensibility. Her new single 'Heartbreak Heatwave' reveals a more intimate side, with delicate arrangements and close, personal vocals that contrast with the tougher guitar work of her earlier releases.
