Buurtoven

Bring your own dough and let the venue's oven do the rest. On Wednesday 4 November, Tante Toorop lights its wood oven so you can bake what you have made at home in it.

The idea is simple, and that is the appeal. It suits anyone who has been working on a dough recipe and wants to see it come out of a wood-fired oven rather than a standard one.

Arrive with your dough ready and a clear idea of what you want to bake. The oven is lit on Wednesdays, so it helps to plan around that rather than turn up on a whim. People who enjoy the process as much as the result will probably get the most from it.
