St. Peter And Pauls in E4 is a venue for listening. Its programming leans towards choral and sacred music, the kind of evening where a Mass setting or a full choir fills the room and people stop talking to hear it. That shapes who comes. Expect a crowd that knows the repertoire, or wants to, and arrives early to find a seat with a clear view of the singers. Concerts here tend to reward attention more than energy. If you are new to this kind of night, read the programme before you go. Knowing what is being sung makes the longer pieces easier to settle into. Notice how the sound shifts between sections. That is most of the pleasure. Pick by mood.
