IInspired by the tradition of Mouneh (المونة) from the Shaam region (historic Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria), chef Tamimi celebrates the art of cooking from the pantry, aka Mouneh. We will experience and enjoy this thousands-of-years-old art with Tamimi’s contemporary touch. The Mouneh tradition is deeply about preserving knowledge, family recipes, love, and memories. The Dinner Experience Chef Sami Tamimi has developed a special six-course vegetarian menu inspired by his cookbook Boustany , creating individual recipes for each course. Tamimi will be hands-on inthe kitchen in Amsterdam for every step, herb, and stirring. He will guide us through a menubuilt around Mouneh, preservation techniques, seasonality, and specialty ingredients,highlighting each course alongside its background and stories.
