Lemur

Lemur is an indie band based in Utrecht and Berlin, with roots in Istanbul. Lemur’s songs tell stories of growing up, moving through cities and finding meaning somewhere between past and present. Reserved and mildly dark, but never without a hint of joy and hope, their dreamy and playful sound takes you on a lemur-like journey, drifting towards reminiscences of a distant but vividly alive past. Lemur releases their debut album yeniden on 30 October. The album is named after the single yeniden, released in August 2026, and the word itself (translated as ‘once again’) fits the band’s own story: after a long hiatus that began in Istanbul, Lemur reunited in 2024 between Utrecht and Berlin. Both a continuation and new beginning, Lemur is remembering the past while making memories and telling new stories together, once again.
