Fionn Regan

For nearly two decades, Irish singer-songwriter Fionn Regan has been acclaimed for his poetic songs and refined, intuitive artistry. Following his Mercury Prize-nominated 2006 debut, 'The End of History', he built a beloved body of work that balances folk, indie, and dreamy Americana; spanning from the radiant '100 Acres of Sycamore' (2011) to the recently acclaimed 'O Avalanche' (2024). Along the way, he has collaborated with the likes of Cillian Murphy and been sampled by Bon Iver. With his eighth album, 'Berlin, Berlin', Regan reaffirms his status as one of the most distinctive voices in Irish folk. 'Berlin, Berlin' followed quickly on the heels of the acclaimed 'O Avalanche' (2024). While that album was steeped in the sunlight of Mallorca, 'Berlin, Berlin' evokes an urban, nocturnal atmosphere, a darker, more elusive twin to its predecessor. Think of the rich tones and black-and-white imagery of classic Italian cinema, of early Leonard Cohen, and of figures wandering through corridors and labyrinths in search of the light.
