JGrrey

JGrrey is the alter ego of South Londoner Jennifer Clarke. She grew up amongst different communities, cultures and languages, and learnt to explore those differences through music. With her velvety voice and laid-back delivery, she effortlessly blends neo-soul, R&B and hip-hop. In 2017, she attracted global attention with her COLORS session of ‘Don’t Fade’. This led to her touring with Billie Eilish and working in the studio with Bel Cobain, Kojey Radical and Zombie Juice. On her debut album ‘you, me & jen’, these diverse influences come together, without smoothing out the rough edges. Because for JGrrey, the beauty sometimes lies precisely in the grey areas.
