This Is the Kit

The music of This Is The Kit places great emphasis on camaraderie, so it feels like a natural privilege to be welcomed into her world, both on record and in the concert hall with her backing band. At this moment in our history, it is, after all, a heroic act in itself simply to be there, to keep standing tall and to make music where people can come together. This Is The Kit, aka Kate Stables, is a songwriter, banjo player and lover of pinhole cameras, born in Winchester and based in Paris. She continues to evolve, creating albums full of honesty and inviting sounds. In today’s fast-paced world, it can feel like a waste of time to talk about time, but with This Is The Kit, it’s worth pausing for a moment.
