Making a show of myself

A celebration of the power and magic of storytelling by a multi-award winning Irish raconteur. Fresh from sellout runs in New York, London and Dublin. True-life material woven into extraordinary tales by a master storyteller. Irish storyteller Mary Kate O Flanagan takes you on a journey through episodes from her own life, showing how there's a story in every stumble and a little magic in every story. After all, if everything goes according to plan, there’s no story to tell! This show has it all: dating disasters, coming of age stories, human connection that brings hope, death. These precious moments of human experience come together with musings on the nature of storytelling itself. After seeing this winner of GrandSLAM Moth championships on two continents telling you about her life adventures, you will be burning with desire to tell your own story too…. * Bio * Mary Kate was Ireland’s first Grand Slam Champion Storyteller at The Moth. She is also a Grand Slam Champion Storyteller at The Moth in Los Angeles and a Champion Storyteller at The Dublin StorySlam.
