New Wave

New Wave returns to the Ziggo Dome with 'New Wave All Stars' on the 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th & 25th of April 2027. A new show featuring the hits from back then, new material, and guest artists! New Wave is a collaboration between young artists who together shaped the sound of a generation. What began as a songwriting camp on the smallest Wadden Island grew into a major cultural phenomenon. The recording sessions, often lasting deep into the night and taking place in bedrooms, kitchens, and improvised studios, produced raw energy and timeless tracks, resulting in classics such as 'Drank & Drugs', 'No Go Zone', and 'Investeren in de Liefde'. For many artists, New Wave marked their breakthrough to the mainstream. New Wave emerged simultaneously with the rise of streaming services and proved that a multi-million audience could be reached without traditional media. With beats, laptops full of ideas, viral music videos, and lyrics straight from the lives of young listeners, the collective grew into a cultural icon and a wave that carried an entire generation along.
