Ziggo Dome is the largest concert hall in the Netherlands, on De Passage in Amsterdam Zuidoost, next to the Johan Cruijff ArenA. It holds up to 16,800 people and it is where you go to see big international tours and Dutch stars. The hall has no fixed opening hours: it opens per show, so the doors and times depend on the concert you have a ticket for. With a standing floor the capacity is 16,800, split between 7,500 on the floor and 4,650 in each of the two rings. With a seated floor it drops to 12,950. Inside there are 17 food outlets, as well as bars, and BAUT Backstage serves dinner above the entrance. The Vinyl Room is a listening bar with cocktails, and Premium Tickets add extras to a regular show. Architects Benthem Crouwel designed the building, which opened in 2012. Marco Borsato played the first concert on 24 June, and Pearl Jam followed two days later. Getting there is easy without a car, with train, metro and bus stations within walking distance, and lockers and cloakrooms are available on site.
