Supperclub: Club in Grachtengordel, Amsterdam

Serves foodAge limit 21+Dress code: casual chic

Supperclub is a nightclub and restaurant at Singel 460 in Amsterdam's canal belt, in the listed Odeon building. Go for a night of house, disco and Latin music, or for a multi-course dinner eaten on the venue's signature beds with your shoes off. The club is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday with changing line-ups, and the agenda on the Supper website gives the music and times per night. The minimum age is 21. The dress code is casual chic, though the club says everyone is welcome however they look. The restaurant serves a chef's menu of four, five or six courses, with performances between the plates, and diners can move on to the club afterwards. Tables can be booked online or by phone. Supperclub moved here in October 2015 from the Jonge Roelensteeg. Its main room is an oval hall with a domed LED ceiling, entered through the kitchen, with beds around the edges that turn into dance platforms at night. The building has a long history of its own: a merchant's house from 1662 by Philips Vingboons, a concert hall where Clara and Robert Schumann played, and home from 1952 to the COC's dance club De Odeon Kelder. The restaurant serves from 20:00 to 23:00, Wednesday to Sunday. The club runs from 23:00 to 04:00 on Thursday and until 05:00 on Friday and Saturday. Mention dietary wishes such as vegetarian or vegan when you book, and remind the staff when you arrive. Trams 2, 11 and 12 stop at Koningsplein. If you come by car, Parking Kalverstraat at Singel 451 is two minutes' walk away.
