The City Barge

Quiz night at The City Barge runs every other Thursday from 7pm. The quizmaster's lively, keeps it moving rather than boring you dead. General knowledge rounds mean you don't need to be a ringer; half your team can be having a laugh and half can be taking it seriously.

Entry's two quid, fifty-quid voucher if you win. Two hours of pub competition that's just stakes enough to keep everyone focused but not so much that someone goes home angry over a debatable Beatles question.

It's a solid Thursday night if you want something cheap, keep things social, and actually have a reason to be there beyond just sitting with a pint.
