Harmony Sinfonia Presents 'Story Time' - an evening featuring ageless tales of colourful characters
Harmony Sinfonia is a local orchestra providing music to the community. On Saturday 29th November we’re performing the next in our concert series, Harmony Sinfonia Presents ‘Story Time’. An evening featuring ageless tales of colourful characters: fairy-tale princesses, Arabian sailors, and Russian aristocrats. We’ll be playing Prokofiev’s 1938 suite from the film Lieutenant Kijé, a satirical story poking fun at the incompetence of a fictional tsar called Paul. This is followed by Tchaikovsky’s suite from the 1889 ballet Sleeping Beauty, based on the fairy tale by the Grimm brothers. The finale
