Critically acclaimed, multi-genre comedian Joseph Morpurgo brings his first new show in nine years to Soho Theatre.
A decade ago, Joseph discovered something in a car boot sale. Something old, something ordinary, something mundane. But all is not as it seems. Is it ever? In Highlander 70, "the UK's foremost alchemist of 'found' comedy and irreverent, cross-media mash-up humour" (Scotsman) excavates the past and brings the audience along for the ride, with the help of some physical media, animation, and the good folks at Jim's Steak and Spaghetti House.
Since debuting at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2013 with his breakout hit Truthmouth, he has created the hugely acclaimed shows Odessa, Soothing Sounds For Baby and Hammerhead, and is a founder member of West End improv hit Austentatious. Directed by Hamish MacDougall.
