A weekly team quiz that mixes general knowledge with pop culture questions designed to trip people up. You pick a team name (the punniness is mandatory), answer the questions, and you're competing for bar tabs or bottles of wine depending on how you place. It's a couple quid to enter, which is enough to make winning feel good without the pretension.
Portobello's got plenty of quiz nights, but this one is straightforward: it asks questions, you answer them, and if your team knows more than the others, you win. There's a final round where one teammate heads to the bar and gets one last question with ten seconds on the clock, which means even a slow start can turn around.
