The Railway's launched a new Sunday quiz at 7:30pm in Blackheath. If you're after a proper social evening that doesn't involve standing around shouting, this is it: three quid a head, cash on the night, rounds cover general knowledge through to film and music. It's the sort of quiz where everyone gets a chance, from picture rounds to wild cards that shift week to week.
They're keeping the bar open until 11pm, so you can commit to the full thing without worrying about closing time. There's a rolling weekly raffle that builds until someone wins it. Blackheath doesn't get many of these, so if you want a regular Sunday ritual with actual stakes, it's worth getting in early.
