About Oedipus Craft Space
Oedipus Craft Space is the home of Oedipus brewery on the Schaafstraat in the Hamerkwartier in Amsterdam-Noord, with the brewery, a taproom, a Spätkauf, a stage and a playground on one site. You go for beer straight from the source, a burger from the kitchen and whatever is on stage that night.
Four friends started Oedipus in 2012, and the Craft Space is what grew from it. The food comes from Sassy's, with burgers and wings as the main draw, and there is a terrace for long afternoons. The programme has live music, jazz, quizzes, radio and exhibitions, and the Spätkauf sells fresh beer and merchandise by day.
Brewery tours with three tastings run from Thursday to Saturday, for up to eight people per booking. The Backstage room, Spätkauf and Taproom can all be hired for groups and events. The kitchen closes at 21:00 on every open day.
