Radio Radio is a small club and working radio station on the Westergas grounds beside the Westerpark in Amsterdam. It holds about 250 people, so you are close to the DJ and the sound system, and it is known for house, disco and techno on nights that often run as long all-night sets. It started in 2018 as a pop-up DJ bar during Amsterdam Dance Event and never left. Its station, RRFM, streams live from the building and keeps an archive of sets online. Residents include Tom Trago, Dam Swindle, Hannecart and Kyra Khaldi, and the dance floor plays out in front of a glowing moon by Boris Acket and Lumus Instruments. Upstairs is Seven Eleven, a hi-fi bar for cocktails and special wines that opens on request and has free entry. Club nights usually fall from Thursday to Saturday and times vary, so check the programme for each night. On other days the space can be rented for parties, conferences and listening sessions. The contact page gives the opening times as Thursday from 22:00 to about 03:00, and Friday and Saturday from 23:00 to about 05:00. Friday and Saturday nights are programmed months ahead, always public, and cannot be hired.
