TILLATEC: Club in Bos en Lommer, Amsterdam

Room hireGardenKitchen

TILLATEC is a nightclub and event space in a former technical school from 1967 on the Doctor Jan van Breemenstraat in Amsterdam West. Its founders announced in June 2026 that it will close for good, with a final closing weekender in November 2026, so check the website before planning a visit. The club launched in April 2024 in the building that used to house De School, and it kept the raw feel of the place: former classrooms used as event rooms, a garden, courtyards and a fully equipped kitchen, with a 24-hour licence. Events ranged from 24-hour raves to small community gatherings, and bookings included Steffi, Simo Cell and Bailey Ibbs. It opens per event, with no regular hours. TILLATEC describes itself as a space built on freedom and inclusivity, and its house rules ask that everyone is treated with respect, with the door staff free to refuse anyone who is not. It also rented out its rooms for events of 100 people or more, and worked with caterers for café, restaurant and club formats. No reason for the closure has been given. In their announcement the founders called it not just a goodbye to a building but a love letter to the people who made it mean something.
