Best nightclubs in London

London does not really sleep. From basement rooms with a sound system worth the trip to railway arches and warehouse spaces that fill up after midnight, the city runs club nights every night of the week. The places worth knowing are the ones with a full calendar, because a packed listings page is what keeps a dancefloor alive and gives you a reason to go out on a quiet night.

The clubs below are ordered by how active they are, counted from the nightlife events each has coming up. It is a measure of activity rather than a ranking of sound systems or door policies, so the rooms near the top are simply the ones with the most nights you can go to in person.
