Next Door Records is where Stoke Newington's electronic and alternative music community actually happens. Food venue by day, music venue by night. Programming tilts towards deep, club-oriented DJ nights (Return2Source and Segment are regular fixtures, the kind where you're there for the sound design, not the Instagram moment) alongside touring indie acts. The room gives DJs proper time and space to do their thing. Long sets, vinyl in the mix, a crowd that knows the difference between background noise and something worth hearing. It sits on Church Street, north of Dalston, in an area that's always kept its own musical taste without apology.
