Sambrook's Brewery Tap sits in SW18, and it runs like a good local should. It's a taproom first, where people come for a pint and stay for whatever is on. The programming is loose and social. Expect quiz nights that take themselves seriously, DJ sets that lean eclectic, and live jazz played for people who came to talk. A run club meets here too, and seasonal beer-hall nights come round through the year. Most of the faces you'll see are neighbourhood regulars, with a few visitors who came for one particular night. Nobody dresses up. The point is the beer, the company, and a room that doesn't rush you.
