Wandsworth Run Club

Running club that doesn't take itself too seriously. You meet at Sambrook's Taproom in Wandsworth, run together, then come back for a pint. The social bit is as much the point as the fitness, which is what makes it work. There's a Thursday and Sunday slot, so one usually fits your week.

The appeal is straightforward: structure without pace pressure, fitness that's also an excuse to hang out. Wandsworth is good for this, and knowing a brewery tap waits at the end makes the run feel less like obligation and more like reason to get moving.

Good if you run already but want less solitude. Or if running solo never appealed.
