Bricklayers Arms runs a weekly quiz every Tuesday, 7 to 9pm. It's the kind of night that pulls in a mix: solo players who team up when they arrive, groups coming together, people who love trivia and people who just want an excuse to sit somewhere lively with a drink.
There's fifty quid on the bar tab for whoever wins, enough to make the night feel like there's something at stake without turning it tense. Two hours is good pacing, gives you time to find your rhythm, settle in properly, actually enjoy it rather than white-knuckle your way through.
