Shakespeare shelved this one after the first outing, and most theatres have done the same. Indiana Lown-Collins is bringing it back for her Globe Theatre debut, lacing flamenco into a story about four women who arrive in Navarre to challenge a king's romantic vows. Everything unravels into wit, desire, and proper chaos. The ending won't resolve, and that's what makes it work.
You barely see this play staged anywhere. Rarer still to see it remade like this. The Spanish music and movement give the language new angles and temperature. Good for Shakespeare that trusts its own cleverness and isn't afraid to leave things tangled.
