The Maker Market
The Maker Market sets up in the covered passage of De Hallen, a former tram depot from 1902, on a number of weekends a year. The rule is simple and the organiser is firm about it: makers sell their own work, and resellers and importers are not allowed. That gives you jewellery, ceramics, clothes and accessories, illustrations and prints, things for the home, natural care products and small-batch food and drink. The passage is covered, so the weather matters less here than at most markets on this page.

When to go
There is no fixed day, so check the organiser's dates. For the rest of 2026 at De Hallen it lists 28 and 29 November, Saturday 11am to 5pm and Sunday noon to 5pm. It also runs editions at Amstel1 on 8 November and 6 December, and at the Centrale Markthal from 19 to 23 December.
Good to know
Entry is free and you do not need a ticket. De Hallen is next to the Ten Katemarkt and also holds the Foodhallen, so you can eat there. The organiser also lists markets elsewhere, so make sure you are looking at the Amsterdam page when you check the dates.
