AMAZE Amsterdam is a walk-through light and sound experience in a former industrial warehouse at Elementenstraat 25, in Amsterdam-West. You move through eight rooms of lasers, projections, smoke and loud music in a small group, which makes it a very different outing from a museum: nothing hangs on the walls and you are inside the work. Visits run in time slots booked online, with up to eight people in a group, or a private slot for you and seven friends. An entry ticket covers the bar and an hour in AMAZE. There is no ticket sale at the door, and free lockers are available. The experience is intense on purpose, with strong light effects, loud audio and narrow passages. The venue advises a minimum age of 10, warns people with epilepsy or claustrophobia, and allows only assistance dogs. The lounge is open to everyone, with or without a ticket, and serves cocktails made in front of you along with coffee and soft drinks. The same building works as an event space for 200 to more than 1,500 guests, and hosts electronic music nights under the name Warehouse Elementenstraat. It is about 15 minutes by bike from Centraal, and there is paid parking.
