About Lofi

Lofi is a club in an old bus garage on the Basisweg in Amsterdam, out by Sloterdijk, set up to give the city's free-spirited nightlife more room. You go for long club nights and day events, from indoor warehouse raves to smaller community gatherings on the courtyard.

The main room is simply called the Club, with a second room, the Colorfloor, opening on some nights, and a courtyard at the back. Lofi opens per event, and the times are on each event in the agenda. In most cases the doors close two hours before the end. The house minimum age is 18, though external events can set their own.

Lofi is cashless: you pay by card, or load cash onto a card at the bar. Food is available, including vegetarian options, until about two hours before the end of a night show. There are lockers, two gender-neutral toilet groups and a disabled toilet at the back of the courtyard. Once you leave you usually cannot come back in. Visitors may be searched, flash photography is banned, and the door can turn away football shirts and clothing with discriminatory prints.
