Join us for a day of FREE sessions, including crafting, gardening, drama and circus, as we open our doors for our community to get involved and get creative. Activities are designed for children and parents/carers to enjoy together. Come along! Fun Palaces is an ongoing campaign for community at the heart of culture and culture at the heart of every community – led by and for that community, and an annual Weekend of Celebration – arts, science, craft, tech, digital, heritage and sports events and activities – run by and for local communities. 11am-4pm: Crafting 12noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm: Drama 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm: Circus 11am-4pm: Family Games Station and Ayoka Thrift Sale of children's toys and books 11am-4pm: Gardening - plant a seed
