Boerenmarkt Haarlemmerplein
Once a week the Haarlemmerplein, the square at the end of the Haarlemmerstraat, hosts a small farmers' market. It trades on Wednesdays. I amsterdam lists bread, dairy, vegetables, fruit, meat, dry goods, cheese, herbs and flowers, and says most of it is organic. It is a market for the regular shop rather than a day out, and you can walk the length of it in a few minutes.

When to go
The market runs on Wednesdays, 10am to 5pm. I amsterdam and the city's market data agree on those hours. There is no market here on other days, and it has no website of its own, only a Facebook page.
Around the market
The square opens onto the Haarlemmerstraat and the Haarlemmerpoort, and the Westerpark is a short walk further on. The Noordermarkt and the Lindengracht are in the same part of town if you are here on a Saturday instead.
