Nieuwmarkt
The Nieuwmarkt is the square around the Waag, the old weigh house, on the edge of the Wallen. It hosts more than one market. A general market trades from Monday to Saturday. On Saturdays an organic farmers' market sets up as well, and on Sundays in the warmer months the city lists an antiques and art market. So the square looks different depending on the day you come.

Which market on which day
The city's market data lists the general market Monday to Saturday, the organic market on Saturday from 9am to 4pm, and the antiques and art market on Sundays from May to November, 9am to 5pm. I amsterdam also gives 9am to 5pm for Sunday. For Monday to Saturday the two sources give different hours, so we leave those out. The market site that I amsterdam links to no longer has a market page.
What's on the stalls
The city files the weekday market under general goods, the Saturday market under farmers' and organic markets, and the Sunday market under art, antiques and curiosities. We could not find a stall list, so that is as far as we can go. If you are looking for something specific, ask the traders.
