How it works
Bouldering is open to anyone on your own, although a first-timer is advised to take an intro lesson. Climbing with a rope alone needs a climbing certificate or proven experience. Without one, book the introductory lesson of 90 minutes with an instructor, equipment included.
To learn to climb independently there is the Indoor Toprope Course: four sessions of two hours on flexible days, ending in an NKBV climbing certificate, with equipment included.
Prices
A day ticket for climbing and bouldering costs €15.50 up to age 17, €17.50 from 18 to 24, and €19.50 from 25. The introductory climbing lesson is €24.50 for adults and €19.50 for children. Strip cards start at €139.50 up to 17, €157.50 from 18 to 24 and €175.50 from 25, and memberships are available too.
Kids, groups and parties
Guided climbing and bouldering start at age 7. The Climbing Club for young climbers starts at 7 for bouldering and 8 for climbing. Children's parties start at age 5 or 7 depending on the type, and the kids' workshop lasts two hours, with 1.5 hours of climbing and chips or fries with unlimited lemonade to finish. Two people over 14 who both hold a climbing certificate can come and climb by themselves.
Adult workshops of about two hours are offered as team outings.
Food, facilities and parking
The bar and bistro serves fresh meals every day, with vegetarian options, and has a terrace on the water. There is no parking of the venue's own, but paid parking is available nearby. Physiotherapy and fitness are on site.
